Last weeks have been a nightmare with corrupted catalogs and Adobe's lack of a solution.
The situation has been so bad that I've acquired Capture Pro and I'm already using it instead. The only minus point is related to the lack of Fuji lenses corrections. from webster: Definition of apologyplural apologies1 a : an admission of error or discourtesy accompanied by an expression of regret a public apologyb apologies plural : an expression of regret for not being able to do something I won't be able to attend. Also, this update continues not to address LR and LR/C native support for HEIF.
I love how every Adobe thread is half full of people saying they don't use the software. Why do they feel compelled to post that this has nothing to do with them and they don't use the software. How is it possible that the default image format of the most popular camera in the world (i Phone) still is not supported natively by Adobe's flagship photo editor / asset manager? Adobe seems to be doing everything possible to push loyal users to Adobe competitors.
We’re happy to report that these issues were resolved and now available for immediate download.
Some of the issues resolved included converting presets, sorting and copying/pasting profiles, translation errors, along with crash fixes.
My presets, which I rely on processing dozens of images a day for my income are completely broken and I can't fix them. Man, how many times have we heard Adobe having to apologize for rushing a rev of LR or PS to release that had major bugs and failure modes over the last 3-4 years?
